FA124 is a highly porous, gelular, Type I, strong base anion resin, supplied in the chloride form as moist, tough, uniform spherical beads. It has greater porosity, and this provides superior regeneration efficiency, easier separation in regenerable mixed beds, and greater resistance to organic fouling.
FA124 is intended for use in all types of deionization systems and chemical process- ing applications and is especially suited for use in regenerable mixed beds. FA124-OH resins in combination with FC108-H (strong acid cation resin), gives excellent performance in mixed beds.
FA124 is intended for use in the hydroxide form for all types of deionizing systems as well as in the chloride form for removal of contaminants such as nitrate, arsenate, chromate, uranium, etc.
